Do I need Glorious CORE software to use a Series 2 PRO mouse?
While the Series 2 PRO has a plug-and-play operation, Glorious CORE is required to enable 8,000 Hz wireless polling as it's default rate is 1,000 Hz out of the box.
Can my PC take advantage of higher polling rate?
To get the best 4,000 Hz polling experience, we recommend a system with at least a 9th gen Intel Core i5 processor and a monitor refresh rate 144Hz or faster. For 8,000 Hz, we recommend a 9th gen i7 processor and a 240Hz monitor or faster.
Can I run the Series 2 PRO at a polling rate lower than 8,000 Hz?
Yes, the Series 2 PRO polls at 1,000 Hz out of the box, but you can enable 125, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 and 8000 Hz wired and wireless polling via Glorious CORE software.

"I've had a white Series 2 Pro wireless for over a year now, and it's still holding strong. They improved the software for the mouse considerably over the time I've had it. It's only gotten better with time as support has improved. I have many mice for different purposes when I shift gaming genres periodically, but I keep coming back to this one each time. A+ tier gaming mouse for FPS, S tier doesn't exist outside of something you or your friend made yourselves, trust me. It doesn't get much better than this. Maybe some preferences in shape, form factor might make this style less preferable, but for the foreseeable future this is it outside of the indie mice scenes. Couldn't be happier with it tbh"

"Very bad experience with this mouse. The quality felt plasticy and the overall construction is bad. The wireless feature also didn't work on my mouse and the battery ran out after a short period of time: 2-3 hours and it completely ran out. Compared to other mice that I have tried, this has performed horribly and is one of the worst luxury mice that you can buy. Would not recommend!"
