Model D Minus when?

Sean ULtado @ 2020-05-03 12:48:10 -0500

This is by far the most comfy mouse I ever had. I have large hands and it fits really well, I like the weight and shape. The only downside I can tell is with the leds, I can easily spot them no matter what effect I use, the light is not smooth so it looks weird when you use some of the effects, As an example in the “Seamless breathing” effect you can see yellow spot light while is showing green, this is not ok for a good mouse like this.

I really hope you guys can fix this in future runs, in terms of usability this mouse is great, no problems there, Is my fav mouse for work and game. RGB is the only issue.

RB:

Will this be available from Canadian retailers (e.g. Amazon) such that we can avoid the possibility of import/duty fees?

October 31, 2019

Andreos:

Would love to have a “-” Version on release day. (119-123mm)
If they get the style of ec2a or ec2b/fk i will insta buy this :p.

And lets hope there will be a official retailer in germany soon.

John :

Currently using the Model O minus absolutely love it, been using it since release and it has been my daily. Hoping they will release this mouse in minus addition too considering I own both the regular and the minus model o and heavily prefer the minus. Paracord would definitely be nice for aesthetics but I think ascended cord gives a very similar feel.

Thera:

Excited to see an ergo from a company that’s already crushing it with their first attempt at the mouse game.

Also I’m calling it now. Glorious specifically designed these mice with easily removable bottoms not only to allow for DIY cable upgrades but so they can sell plug and play wireless upgrades for existing shells. Cheap, easy, and clever move for modular upgrades as they grow.

Chad:

Can’t wait to get my hands on this! I got the model o in it’s first wave of pre-orders 😅

hsiang-fan lee:

Although I agree more buttons would be nice I would also like to see something that can easily fight the competition such as an ultra light and although the O- was close it still falls slightly short. I do however like this design and think this is a solid addition to the up and comer of mice. The price and performance is amazing and makes it my easy first choice regardless of a few grams heavier. Im looking forward to trying out the Model D and all the following models to come. I was in no way suggesting any of the mice are bad or not “up to par” but personally speaking I would like to see how light this company can make a functioning mouse. Like I said very excited to try this out. I am always pleased with Model O and their gear. Please keep up the stellar work and continue to impress without being overpriced. You guys making gaming possible for those who need affordable great gear that keeps up with the over priced, over used gear other companies sell. So thank you again and best wishes for the Model D release. Im stoked to give it a Solid review (I expect nothing less) and making it my new go to for gaming!

Bigger side buttons and paracord? I’m getting one for Christmas :)

kevin buenrostro:

Thank you for finally changing the cable, the old one was giving me many problems like bending and kinks in the wire inside.

October 30, 2019

Nudla:

They should make one that has 3 side buttons instead of 2 it will be a lifesaver for people who are used to 3. (Mongraal)

PricyK:

Pls just stop the mouse buttons from wiggling, fix the side buttons and fix the weird cable situation! Thank you for listening to your customers

Tsuta:

Your logo on the side of all your mouses is too tacky. Either remove it or make a stealth version.

This coming from a respected industrial designer.

Jonathan Boulanger:

I really hope one of these four mice has a nice 6 or 9 button thumb grid. A game changer would be: lightweight, ergo, thumb button grid, paracord, and a split dpi top button I can program to be vol up & down. I hate having all my keybinds on my left hand while trying to keep wasd held down.

dutch:

I’m hoping that this is an EC1 clone, but if it is an EC2 clone, then I hope that you guys make a + version that’s EC1 size instead of making a – version that’s even smaller than the EC2. I know the little reddit mouse community would poll as preferring an even smaller one, but I don’t see the point in making an ergo mouse so small that you can’t even grip it like you are supposed to. I’m not sure why they have this desire beyond the correlation between size and weight. I’m just a regular 6ft tall dude with normal size hands and I’m using a clone right now that’s in between the EC1 and EC2 in size, and it’s still too small for me. A lot of EC1s have been sold and a lot of people use it.. I’m not sure what sales demographic you guys are reaching at this point, but if you are getting lots of sales from people not in the mouse collecting community that are just CSGO players or PC gamers in general, then an EC1 size would definitely sell well. As far as future shapes go, I’m kind of over it, but I know an IO 1.1 (or Zowie AM if that is more familiar to you) would sell really well, there’s a recent clone that people in the reddit community and OCN alike have been praising the shape of and it’s just an IO 1.1 shape. A WMO clone would get a surprising amount of hype because nobody has ever made one afaik.

Threekiings:

Anybody that has manufacturing issues with the model O, that was hit and miss from the get-go. I myself have been using it daily since wave one release and I don’t have any issues to this day. I would assume by now they have all the squeaking and creaking problems worked out. It’s just a shape change, internal hardware should be the same with improvements.

October 30, 2019

.....?:

Will you make minus version ?

October 30, 2019

Erpetter:

Glorious, don’t be like every other company making mice. Do this mouse for lefties too. I love my Model O, but I’m tired of using symmetrical mice for my whole life.

October 30, 2019

Mohammed El Mouhidi:

Glorious, i have a bigggg question… Did you guys actually improve the cable itself or the cable management inside the box? Because i had to buy a paracord mouse cable in order to fix my broken mouse.

October 30, 2019

Samson:

All these idiots bitching about “ermagerd a zowie clone” please quiet yourselves. Zowie does indeed have great shapes, but what the hell have they done recently? They’ve done nothing to reduce the weight of their mice knowing full well that people want a lighter mouse. If, as a company, you are not smart enough to capitalize on what is in demand, then I feel sorry for you. Who cares if it’s similar in shape, at least Glorious have half a brain (and more) to take the shape and make it a thousand times better.

October 30, 2019

WaveRider:

I see a lot of people making comments about how you guys copy Zowie mice and that they complain about how bad they want a wireless mouse, and just come here to complain. Well, there are many choices out there to pick from, to come here and complain is actually fruitless and silly LOL. If you don’t like Glorious, then kick rocks. I have 2 Model O’s and have had Zero issues with either. I actually think this new model D is going to destroy the G Wolves Skoll. I bought the Skoll and I never use it because it feels cheap, it flex’s all over the place, creeks, and the Left and right switches feel mushy and lack tactical feed back. I recently bought the Xtrfy M4 Retro and that mouse is by far superior to the Skoll. I’m more than sure that the Model D is going to be Awesome! looking forward to getting my hands on the D 😁. I wonder if Glorious is going to do a pre order on this model D?

October 30, 2019

Scott:

Can you stop putting your ugly logo on the visible part of the mouse? Its cringe. Put it on the bottom please.
