How to Clean Your Gaming Mouse Pad

So you've been gaming a lot recently and you're well on your way to becoming a pro gamer.

It's all thanks to using the right accessories (and maybe your skills), including Glorious Stitch Cloth Gaming Mousepads. The premium stitching around the entire perimeter of our pads guarantees that the surface will never fray.

However, like any mousepad or mouse mat, this doesn't stop them from getting dirty, especially after extended use. Grease, sweat, and snacks can all can ruin their longevity.

Here are two methods how to clean your gaming mousepad in no time!

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR cloth GAMING MOUSEPAD - THE DIY METHOD

Basically, there are two ways to make your mouse pad look as good as new. The first one is what we refer to as "DIY labor". Here's what you need to do:

1. Fill sink or bath with warm water and hand / dish soap.

2. Toss mousepad in.

3. Use a sponge to rub the mousepad surface lightly. Apply a bit pressure for stubborn stains.

4. Rinse the mousepad nicely, making sure there's no soap left.

5. Pat the mousepad dry.

6. Air dry once done. For optimal results, wait at least 24-36 hours before use.

That's it! Amazingly simple and a surefire way to restore the Glorious look of your gaming mousepad.

We do understand, however, that you may sometimes be too lazy to go through the whole DIY procedure. Hence, we feel it's our noble duty to answer the following question:

CAN YOU PUT A cloth MOUSEPAD IN THE WASHING MACHINE?

Fortunately, you can! Our cloth mousepads are machine washable, too. All you need to do is:

1. Toss the mousepad in the washing machine.

2. Add a dash of soap / regular detergent.

3. Set to cold, low tumble. Do NOT use hot water!

4. Air dry once done. For optimal results, wait at least 24-36 hours before use.

Voila! You've just restored your mousepad's former glory. You can choose whichever method you prefer, and the result will be the same - a clean Glorious gaming mousepad that's ready for all the abuse you can throw at it.

For those who have problems getting a greasy mousepad.
This is not a joke, rub some apple cider vinegar on ur hands and arms. Let it rest till ur dry then wash it off. The properties of the vinegar makes ur pores shrink and skin to tighten. For best result, do this routine for five days and you won’t have problem with sweats and grease for weeks!

Here’s a tip:
You can wear gloves if you want? I didn’t and my hands are fine but anyways.
I just basically ran warm water in the sink, and added a few drops of laundry detergent to the mouse pad. Worked the detergent in there. You can use one of those plastic dish scrubbing brushes for harder stains (or an old toothbrush). I used them to removed pen marks from years ago, and it didn’t tear the material. That, and a load of coffee stains and some unidentifiable lol.

Of course, use cold water if you feel more comfortable, all I’m saying is warm did nothing to destroy mine as it was hand washed.

my mouse pad gets covered in grease quite often even after ive washed the mouse pad multiple times it turns the black mouse pad white, ive followed the steps mentioned above to the best of my abilities despite all of that after 1 or 2 weeks of use the mouse pad returns to being covered in oil and grease any help?? PS I have the glorious 3xl in black

Here’s how you can do it:
Try cleaning it with water and an abrasive sponge / scrubbing pad.
Just spray it with warm water, scrub the surface without applying too much pressure and you should be good to go. Also, you can stick it immediately after you finish with the cleaning. You don’t have to wait for it to dry.
