A huge new StarCraft 2 multiplayer update planned for November
August 20, 2017
It's been a week since StarCraft: Remastered was released. As it turns out, Blizzard did the right thing by picking up an RTS classic and giving it that extra modern touch. Now, both StarCraft veterans and new players have all the more reasons to check out the revamped Koprulu Sector and join the endless war.
What this means is that it's safe for Blizzard to get back to improving StarCraft II and bringing it a step closer to being the default choice for modern RTS fans. And, according to their latest announcement, it seems they are already working hard on what is supposed to be one of the most important multiplayer updates in the history of the game. The goal of the update is to "address underused units and abilities while also trying to reduce sudden game ending moments."
All three races will be getting changes to their early and mid-to-late units. The economy of the game is also undergoing tests that are meant to "make comebacks easier when players are denied a 3rd or 4th base." There's literally a ton of stuff the (November) update is expected to address, so we encourage you to head over to Blizzard's StarCraft II blog and see for yourself.
