GMMK PRO 3/23 BATCH 1 SHIP DATE DELAYED
As we announced yesterday, due to high levels of congestion in US shipping ports, the container ships carrying our GMMK Pro units have been stuck in line waiting to unload.
To ensure we can guarantee we have the units actually in our warehouse, the Batch 1 ship date will be delayed from the 3/23 date previously announced.
As it stands, the unloading dates we are being given by the freight carriers are shifting daily. We are currently estimating that the GMMK Pro units will reach our warehouse around the first week of April. It could be sooner than this or slightly longer - unfortunately we cannot give a 100% accurate estimate at this time.
We’ll keep you updated with all new info as soon as we get it. As soon as the units are received in our warehouse we’ll send out an email to Batch 1 holders to initiate checkout.
We understand that this is frustrating news. Despite leaving plenty of time to account for potential delays, the current state of shipping ports are an unprecedented worst case scenario.
We appreciate your patience.
What’s The Plan?
The first container vessel, MAERSK ESSEX, has a current Berthing ETA of 3/23. This date is subject to change, and we will continue to update you as we hear more information. Once docked, our container should be unloaded within a couple of days.
Once the ship has been unloaded, as soon our container is made available a truck will pick it up from the port. This could be immediate, or there could be a few days between unloading and pickup. Once the truck is loaded, it will arrive at our warehouse later that day.
After the shipment arrives at the warehouse, it will take roughly 2 days for us to receive it and begin the sorting and delivery process. Once again, we are hoping for the first week of April or sooner to initiate the order process. However, we cannot guarantee any specific date at this time.
We will send out the email to customers as soon as its back in stock

Yes, the review embargo will still be lifted on 3/23 @ 10:30AM Central Time. At that time first reviews should be released.
2. Will Batch 1 holders still be able to complete the checkout on 3/23?
No, we will not be sending out emails to complete checkout on 3/23. We’ll send the emails as soon as the units are received into our warehouse.
3. How will this affect Flex Batch?
Nothing has changed with Flex Batch. Emails will be sent out to Flex Batch holders as we get units in stock.

I’m hoping at least some of the accessories will be in stock so that I can buy them when they send the emails out. I was really hoping on getting a PC plate
Could we get a better time estimate for flex batch shipping instead of just “Q2 2021”??? I’m sure a lot of people are wondering if this means we may get it in April or end of June, Q2 can mean anything.

I’m not that mad, this seems like a pretty big launch. I feel like everybody in the keyboard community is at least talking about this. Honestly, anything outside of Prime shipping for me is taking 2-4 weeks and that wasn’t the case in 2019 and prior.

I agree with paul – it would only make sense for us to be able to see what we were going to be able to see anyways in terms of add ons for the keyboard – although I imagine some reviewers are going to potentially showcase some of this stuff.
Will I be able to add other non gmmk pro related items to my order such the as the model o wireless? Are they going to come in separate packages due to the delay (despite the delay, it’d be more convenient if everything came in one package).
Would be great if you could give us more detailed info on the accessories that will be available with the GMMK Pro; basically a preview of everything we’d be able to add to our order.
