Disney has decided to release some more Lucas Arts classics on Steam. And yes, I'm aware they've been around on GOG for a while. But not everyone is a fan of digital distribution platforms other than Steam, so there's that. Meanwhile, these old-school games are discounted until November 23, so that might be a good enough reason to pick them up now.

These are the latest old-school games available for purchase (along with their discounted prices).

Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders

A title that introduced many a gamer to point and click adventure games.

Escape from Monkey Island

The 4th part in the Monkey Island series. Lost a bit of the charm of its predecessors (popular opinion), but still a great adventure game.

Escape from Monkey Island is one of the old-school games by Lucas Arts that Disney released on Steam.

Sam & Max Hit the Road

One of the funniest games in existence. Another adventure classic.

I won't blame you if you've never heard of this decent (and funny-ish) heaven-and-hell building sim. Not something you'd expect from Lucas Arts back in the day.

Star Wars Episode 1: Racer

A lot of Star Wars fans would tell you that this is the best thing that came out of prequels.

Outlaws + A Handful of Missions

A fantastic western FPS that's criminally underrated. It's got the atmosphere, the soundtrack, and all those cowboys trying to take you down.

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

I remember this being a very buggy game. Not the best attempt to bring Indiana Jones into the 3D world, but still has its fans.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb

The second attempt. Much better and more polished. Was overshadowed by other - apparently better - games of the same genre. Definitely get this one if you can only afford one 3D Indiana Jones game.

So, do you feel nostalgia setting in? I don't know about you, but I'll definitely be getting a few of these old-school games. Time to sail the Caribbean once again, deal with a bunch of cowboys, and shout "Now, THIS is podracing!"
